Academy courses are built with interoperability standards which are commonly accepted in the pharmaceutical and other industries.

Academy courses can be linked to learning management systems ("LMSs") at companies and institutions so that these courses can be managed, and progress and completion can be tracked, on the LMS.  Each course has been created to meet both SCORM and xAPI.  If you would like more information on the standards, or how to have the courses available and tracked on your LMS for your employees, please contact our provost.

E-Learning Interoperability Standards

SCORM
Shareable Content Object Reference Model

Originally launched in 1980 by the U.S. Department of Defense, this standard enables basic information about the course, such as the student's enrolling, completion of sections, scores. time spent and dates to be easily interfaced with LMSs. As an older standard, SCORM is becoming less common.

xAPI
Experience Application Programming Interface

This is the current standard for course data to be formatted and available for interface with LMSs.
