For Experts

Teach what you've actually done.

The most useful professional training comes from the rare people who have held the roles and who have unique insight into best practices.  If you're one of them, we want to work with you.

Hone

What do you wish you had known when you started your career?  What do you believe the next generation needs to know?  Work with us to clarify what those are and form them into a course for you to teach.

Leverage

Use the Academy as a channel to convey your insight and gain exposure for your best offerings.  We provide instructors with a percentage of course tuition, but the primary financial benefit for the instructors is broad awareness of their capabilities.

Contribute

The World needs better companies.  Better companies are built by more capable leaders.  Contribute to developing them.

Two types of courses - Fundamentals and Mastery

Teach a Core Curriculum Course

Core Curriculum courses answer one question: what should every executive at a pharmaceutical company know about what your department does?  Facts, tactics, and perspective to understand what is really going on.

Teach a Specialty Expert Course

Our expert courses are not for teaching "best practices" that only ensure good performance - they are to teach how to beat the industry, advance the science, see opportunities others do not and bring those visions to life.

Teaching experience is not required - excellent communication skills are.

We bring the instructional design, content preparation process, video editing, AI and production capabilities.

You bring your vision of what the best course ever taught in your field would be -
and a sprout of passion.

How we build a course together

1

Initial conversation

We discuss the course you have in mind — the topic, how there is an unmet need for it, your angle on it — and how it would fit with the Department and Academy curriculum.  This is a two-way fit check: we want to make sure we're a good match before either of us commits.
2

Curriculum outline & design

Our Provost works with you to understand what other courses, conferences and publications address the topic, and what is good and bad about them,  Define the scope and sequence the material (ideally around a central diagram of the topic), identifying the right level of depth for the audience, and building the PowerPoint deck that serves as an outline and recording template, as well as identify application tools (worksheets, reference cards, reflection prompts) that make the learning stick beyond the session.
3

Recording & production

Record the lessons solo, from your office, or ideally as a conversation with one of us, or your own identified partner.  The recordings can be done in Zoom, or Descript or another platform and we will guide the process.  We walk you through what works and what doesn't for on-demand professional education to make you look good and ensure effective instruction.  You focus on the content - we handle editing, captioning, and platform production.
4

Review & launch

We review the finished course together before it goes live — checking accuracy, flow, and the quality of the knowledge checks and application activities.  You retain approval over the final product. Once launched, we handle learner support and keep you informed of feedback.
5

Ongoing relationship

We treat faculty as members of the Academy, not one-time contractors.  As the field evolves, we'll work with you to keep the course current.  And as new courses are scoped in your area, you'll be part of that conversation first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from prospective faculty

Do I need teaching experience?

No. What we look for is practitioner expertise and the ability to explain it clearly. Our Provost and instructional design process handle the course architecture — we will teach you what we need from you as a faculty member. Many of our best instructors have never formally taught before.

How much time does building a course take?

It depends on the length and complexity of the course. A Core Curriculum course typically involves a scoping conversation, a curriculum outline review, several rounds of recorded lessons (usually five to fifteen minutes each), and a final review pass. Most faculty complete the content recording phase over a few weeks, fitting it around their existing work schedule.

Can I nominate someone else to teach?

Yes. If you know someone whose expertise and communication style would be a great fit for the Academy, you can nominate them through our contact form. We'll reach out to them directly. Nominations are one of the most common ways we find new faculty.

What is the compensation structure?

Compensation terms are discussed individually based on the course type, scope, and the instructor's role (principal instructor versus guest faculty). We discuss this openly in the initial conversation — there are no surprises. Contact us to start that discussion.

What we look for in faculty

01

Hands-on experience

You've held the role or done the work directly — we are looking for the leaders who have set the path for many .
02

Clarity over complexity

You see the basics where others see chaos. You don't "hide the ball" or make topics sound harder than they are to protect your value. You actually want people to understand.
03

Commitment to application

Your measure of a lesson's success is whether learners can use it on the job — not whether they remembered it during a quiz. You think about transfer, not just comprehension.
