About Us
The knowledge to play.The insight to win.
Pharmaceutical Officers Academy exists to give working professionals the practical, applicable knowledge their roles demand — taught by people who've actually done the work.
Courses built to accelerate your career and impact
Our purpose is simple: give you a series of individual capabilities that help you and your company succeed, bring products to market, and provide society with a wider array of useful pharmaceutical products.
We're built on the "People Teaching People" promise — every course is developed and taught by practitioners who've held the roles our students aspire to, not by generic content writers translating theory secondhand.

What's a Provost?
A provost is the chief academic officer at a university. Well, that is one definition.
At many universities the Provost supervises the deans, and spends a lot of time on budgets and personnel matters.

Not our Provost. At the Academy our Provost is focused on learning effectiveness. Leading our
instructional design efforts, the Provost works with the Department Chairs and faculty members to design the courses so that the instruction is as effective as possible, with application of consistent teaching principles and techniques across all of our courses.

Faculty -- not just instructors.
We work to have faculty members that are experts in their subject matter, but who also are skilled at teaching the material. Good teaching is difficult, and not as easy as it looks.
Our instructors are selected for their commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry by providing training that will contribute to the capabilities and performance of the students;

We seek out people who see clarity where others see only chaos. People who have a vision of what the basics are, and who want to teach those basics. We deliberately avoid having faculty members who “hide the ball” or convey only that the topic is difficult and that their consulting services are the path forward.
Our faculty members work to provide you with useful skills and insight
