Instructional Design Expertise and Execution.

Learning to become an excellent manager in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company need not be by happenstance.  What we provide are the knowledge and perspectives to "know the business".   These include understanding how products are conceptualized, developed and marketed successfully, and having an awareness of the key dynamics that must be managed.

By employing state-of-the-art adult education principles, our programs will enable you to make the most of your time spent in the courses and also tie to resources designed to help you apply an internalize the content.

Educational Principles the Academy Uses:

Define what should be taught specifically

Instructional design should start with a needs assessment - what exactly are the knowledge and skill sets that are needed.  Defining what is really going to be useful to managers requires judgement and characterization of concepts.  Our courses are not a re-hash of conference presentations, nor are they AI generated dump of facts, but are crafted to take managers in companies from where they are to where they would like to be.

Simplify the Content as Much as Possible
Creating a great course requires aggressive editing - cut the unnecessary aspects to keep the course relevant and effective.

Cater to Learning Styles and Evolving Cultural Norms

People generally are not reading nearly as much as they used to.   In addition, time-on-task sessions have become shorter and shorter, resulting in the business day being a lot of "confetti time" where there is less and less ability to get focused blocks of time.

Provide for repetition and application of the material over time to real-word situations.
Students should not consider the completion certificate or the grade to be the accomplishment, but should be able to actually use the content in their jobs.  That is the true measure of our success and what our courses and associated materials are designed to achieve.
