Optional Certificates

Our certifications are at both the course and department level.   Certifications are not just completion or participation acknowledgements.  It takes a year to earn a course certification.1  In order to earn a certificate the learner must complete the on-line training, pass the test, write2 a one-page summary of how they have applied the learning six months after taking the course (using an outline we provide), and pass the test again one year after taking the course.   You will know the material at that point.  Until then, you will have "Certification Pending."  Department certifications require a certification of each Core Course and an interview.
